This is how timebanking works. Members offer their time and skills to help individuals or community organisations in their communities. We all need a helping hand every now and then. It could be with something around the house or maybe a lift somewhere. Maybe we need help with something bigger or to learn a new skill. Timebanking allows us to access the helping hands of our community without having to worry about being a burden. By earning time by helping others and spending time to get support members make the system work so nobody is a burden, and everyone’s time and skills are of equal value. These credits can be banked, donated, or withdrawn to use the skills and services offered by other members.
