The Leanne Fund is the foremost Cystic Fibrosis charity working with individuals and families across the whole of Scotland. We provide vital social, practical, emotional and financial assistance, supporting the whole family.

There is no other Cystic Fibrosis organisation that provides the range of services we do.

The next £1,000 Movement for Good Awards draw is almost here! 🎉

From 7th–11th September, Benefact Group will be drawing 20 charities each day, with 100 charities receiving £1,000. That’s £100,000 going to charities making a difference across the UK🙌

🍂💜 Hello September, hello autumn. 💜🍂

As the seasons change and the days begin to get a little shorter, September brings a gentle reminder that change can also bring new beginnings, new opportunities and new hope.

At The Leanne Fund, we know that life can feel uncertain and overwhelming at times, especially for young people and families who are facing difficult circumstances. That’s why having someone there to listen, support and walk alongside you can mean so much.

This autumn, let’s continue to look out for one another. A kind word, a helping hand or simply letting someone know they’re not alone can make a world of difference. 💜

💜 A very special afternoon! 🎭

Kerry from NHS Grampian CF team, along with husband Chris was incredibly proud to represent The Leanne Fund at the recent Aberdeen Student Show Charity Disbursement Ceremony.

A huge thank you to all the students for choosing The Leanne Fund as one of their Bronze charities for 2026 and for helping to raise an incredible £168,590.84 for charities across the North East👏💜

It was wonderful to be part of such a special event and to celebrate the amazing effort, talent and generosity of everyone involved in the Cove Actually production.

💜 A very special thank you to our lovely Mary! 💜

Since August 2017, Mary has been a regular and much-loved volunteer here at The Leanne Fund, giving her time so generously to help us with all sorts of admin duties behind the scenes.

That’s nine years of turning up, getting stuck in and quietly helping to keep things ticking along and we really couldn’t let that go without giving Mary the recognition she so richly deserves. 🥰

Mary is one of those wonderful people who gives her time simply because she cares. She is kind, thoughtful, caring and always happy to help, and we are incredibly lucky to have her as part of our Leanne Fund family. 💜

Of course, there is one member of the team who is even more excited to see Mary than the rest of us… 🐾Belle! 😂🐶

Belle knows that Mary very kindly arrives bearing treats, so Mary’s visits are always met with a very enthusiastic welcome!

Thank you, Mary, for your time, kindness and friendship. Volunteers like you are such an important part of The Leanne Fund, and we appreciate you more than you know💜

🧶💜 Our baby boxes are getting beautifully stocked! 👶🎁

We’ve had three lovely deliveries of gorgeous hand-knitted goodies recently, all made with love for our baby boxes - with parcels arriving from Joyce and Maria in mainland Scotland and also from Joan in Mullingar in Ireland!

Every tiny hat, cardigan, blanket and pair of bootees represents time, care and kindness, and we’re so incredibly grateful to everyone who picks up their needles and knits for our little ones. 🥰🧶

Our baby boxes are put together with love for families affected by cystic fibrosis, and these beautiful handmade treasures make them even more special. 💜

A huge thank you to all our wonderful knitters and supporters - your generosity travels further than you know! 🥹💜

🐾💜 Happy International Dog Day! 💜🐾

Today we’re celebrating our wonderful four-legged friends and all the love, comfort and companionship they bring into our lives. 🐶💕

For people living with Cystic Fibrosis, life can involve plenty of hospital visits, treatments and challenging days. Having a much-loved pet by your side can bring comfort, routine, laughter and a welcome distraction - sometimes a wagging tail is just what you need! 🐾🥰

We also love the amazing work of Pets as Therapy dogs, who bring friendship, comfort and smiles to people when they need it most. There really is something special about the unconditional love of a dog💜

So today, give your furry friends an extra cuddle, an extra treat and all the fuss they deserve! 🐕🐾

Have you spotted our trailer lately? 👀

If you have, you might have noticed that it’s had a fantastic makeover! 🎉✨

We’re absolutely delighted with its fresh new look, and we couldn’t let the moment pass without saying a huge thank you to the local business who kindly sponsored the refurbishment and new decals. Your generosity has helped give our trailer a whole new lease of life, and we’re incredibly grateful. 💜

And a special thank you must go to Cabby for the fantastic fresh paint finish - what a transformation! 🎨👏

We were thrilled to officially unveil the newly refurbished trailer at the Grampian Forest Rally, and we’re looking forward to proudly showing it off at lots of events in the future. 🏁🚐💜

💜 Cat is taking on the Loch Ness Marathon! 🏃‍♀️🏴

We’re delighted to share that Cat Clark will be taking on the Loch Ness Marathon in support of her friend Fiona - while raising much-needed funds for The Leanne Fund. 💜

With a few weeks still to go, Cat is putting in the training and getting ready for the big day! We’re incredibly grateful that she has chosen to support The Leanne Fund and help raise awareness of the work we do.
