Just over a week to go until the Stonehouse Canal Festival and we are almost ready to welcome everyone once again. Come and enjoy Sportily's climbing wall on the Ship Inn Community Space. You'll get a great view from the top! All the activities are free and we'll have a range of food and drink options including Bubble and Brew, Stroud Brewery & Taproom, SpICE BBQ etc.

We have some space available for pirate-themed activities on the Ship Inn Community Space for our Regatta on Sunday 2 August.

We already have canoeing and katakanus planned on the water and food and drink including Bubble and Brew, SpICE BBQ, Los Cubanos Ltd, and Stroud Brewery. There will also be live music throughout, so just a few more last minute stalls with activities would be great.

This weekend we'll be on site getting ready for the Stonehouse Canal Festival. We are making a stage for our bands to play on and having a tidy up. We may also start working on our pontoon access. Come and give us a hand. Bubble and Brew will be there too all weekend for refreshments.

Witness Stroud District Council making an important decision regarding the Ship Inn Community Space this Thursday 18 June at 7pm. The Strategy and Resources Committee meeting will discuss
CANALSIDE LAND, STONEHOUSE: PROPOSED COMMUNITY ASSET TRANSFER (Pages 163 - 212)

We trust they will all vote in favour of transferring our Canalside Land, Stonehouse to the Stonehouse Town Council for a nominal sum. This would ensure we can continue to keep the land for community use and enjoyment by all.

Bubble and Brew Saturday only this weekend! From 10.30am: Report to the Ship for your coffee fix and to fuel you up for the weekend. B&B will be attending the event in Kings stanley this sunday.

We are looking to borrow a rope for a tug of war competition, and a set of pillaries/stocks for a wet sponge-throwing stall for our fun Sun Day event in August.
