It is with enormous sadness that we hear of the passing of Dolly 💔
Through Dolly Parton's Imagination Library over 100 children in Stokesley are now receiving a book which arrives through the post each month. Every little hand turning a new page, every parent sitting down to read with their child carries a small piece of the legacy Dolly created.

Which book did you receive this month ? This one is our favourite so far! A classic by Janet and Allan Ahlberg ❤️

📚 We love these photos from Stokesley Area Imagination Library showing children from birth to five enjoying the free books they receive through the project.

Thanks to funding from Tees Million, 107 children in Stokesley have been enrolled in the programme during its first year, receiving a book every month.

By putting books into the hands of children from an early age, the project is helping to tackle educational inequality and inspire a lifelong love of reading. Every child enrolled will build their own library of up to 60 books before they start school, creating lasting benefits for children and families alike.

Thank you for entering our Snap, Shoot and Share prize draw for the chance to win a £1,000 grant. It's wonderful to see the difference you're making for local children and families
