This Mental Health Awareness Week, we have put on workshops to encourage conversations around mental wellbeing. Today, our residents came together for a gardening workshop and a coffee morning, emphasising how connection, fresh air, and a little time with nature can go a long way.
Did you know? One of the largest studies on gardens and gardening, funded by Innovate UK and the National Institute for Health Research, found that people who spent time in the garden report better physical and mental health levels than those who do not. (Source: UKRI, UK Research and Innovation)
