A fitting way to close the Lodge season before the summer recess.

At our May meeting, three Brethren were presented with their Grand Lodge Certificates — an important milestone in every Freemason’s journey and a proud moment for both the recipients and the Lodge alike.

These certificates represent more than completion. They reflect dedication, commitment, and the beginning of a deeper journey within the Craft. To witness three Brethren receive theirs together made the evening especially memorable.

Congratulations once again to all three Brethren.

A couple of members of our Lodge had the privilege of attending Victory Lodge No 3509 as part of the European Masonic Association. A fantastic night with a Lodge steeped with naval history.

Proud moment last night as a Brother was raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason.

An honour to stand among the Brethren and witness another step in a journey defined by Brotherhood, Integrity, and Service.

He also brought a piece of home to the Festive Board - sharing a traditional Romanian wine, Lacrima lui Ovidiu, a reminder that while our paths may differ, we meet on common ground in the Craft.

Congratulations!

Staffordshire Freemasons Prepare to Welcome a New Provincial Grand Master.

On Tuesday 19th May 2026 Worshipful Brother Jeremy F. Roberts, Past Senior Grand Deacon of the United Grand Lodge of England, will be installed as the new Provincial Grand Master (Head of Staffordshire Freemasons) at the County Showground, Stafford. The event will be witnessed by hundreds of masons from Staffordshire and around the Country.

Jeremy was initiated into Streetly Lodge number 7448 in Aldridge on 25th January 2002 becoming its Worshipful Master in 2009 and again in 2024. He is a subscribing member of four Lodges and an honorary member of two more.

He was the Provincial Senior Grand Warden in 2019/20 and Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies from 2020 to 2024 before appointment as an Assistant Provincial Grand Master in 2024 a post he still holds.

He was Exalted into the Royal Arch in the Chapter of Honour number 526 in Wolverhampton on 15th November 2011 and was First Principal in 2018. He is currently a Past Provincial Grand Sword Bearer in Staffordshire.

In his working life he is a Sales Director and the Proprietor of a Day Nursery.

The Province of Staffordshire sends Jeremy hearty congratulations on his forthcoming appointment and wishes him good health to enjoy the role.

A fantastic evening in Freemasonry tonight!

The Lodge had the pleasure of Initiating a Lewis and welcoming a Joining Member, making it a very special meeting and a proud moment for everyone involved.

The evening continued with the privilege of attending the Festive Board with , which was held in the style of a traditional Regimental Dinner. It was quite a show for our new Initiate, who witnessed an Initiates Chain of over 70 brethren — a remarkable sight and a wonderful demonstration of the strength, unity, and camaraderie of the Craft.

A memorable evening of tradition, fellowship, and brotherhood.

What a fantastic evening at our Lodge Casino Night social! The tables were buzzing, the stakes were high, and the atmosphere was full of great company and laughter.
