CAPTURING REMEMBRANCE: LGBT+ STORIES & MEMORIES
Join us for one or both of these free workshops:
Saturday 26 September
Friday 9 October
2pm–4pm
The Brampton Museum, Newcastle-under-Lyme, ST5 0QP

As part of the National Memorial Arboretum’s national Capturing Remembrance project, GRAIN Projects are delighted to be leading two days at The Brampton in collaboration with OLGBT+.

You are invited to share an LGBT+ memory or story about the act of remembering. This might relate to community members and friends, the World AIDS Day Vigil, Freddie Mercury, the historic vigil in Hanley following the Orlando shootings, or any other personal, national or international act of remembrance. The project is about a memory that is significant to you.

Please bring a photograph or object from home that symbolises memory and remembrance.

The activities will be led by GRAIN Projects and photographer Kate Peters. Attendance is free.

With thanks to the National Memorial Arboretum, OLGBT+ and The Brampton.
