We will use our experience of Hedgehog Rescue to work with enthusiasts locally and educate anyone who wants to learn about wildlife gardening� Hedgehogs have declined in numbers in the wild though semi rural and urban gardens are supporting them in greater numbers. However, rapid climate changes are making adaptation for this and many other species difficult

For six years we were a flourishing He

dgehog Rescue. We noticed that many Hedgehogs we helped were coming in, year after year after suffering dog injuries, habitat disturbance and other, human related incidents. Sows especially are finding it problematic to birth and raise Hoglets and juveniles often don’t survive

Working with Hoggy Guardians we want to support the creation and maintenance of the most beneficial habitat for hedgehogs, the prevention of accidents and mortality wherever possible and advice and referrals to Rehabbers or Vets when necessary

Our wildlife garden will enable discussion and learning about Hedgehogs and all wild creatures through the seasons

All this to be with the cooperation of any humans, of any age, who will help!
