Cassidy and Ayesha are representing EGG at the Refugee Week Conference 2026 alongside Stockport Race Equality Partnership.

A day of meaningful conversations, inspiring speakers, cultural demonstrations and shared experiences, all centred around community, connection and belonging.

It’s been a great opportunity to listen, learn and connect with organisations and individuals working to create more inclusive and welcoming communities. 🩵

A huge congratulations to Cassidy on stepping into her new role as Homelessness Support Lead at EGG 🩵

Cassidy has consistently shown genuine care, strong leadership, and a deep understanding of the people we support. Her values-led approach and commitment to making a real difference have had a huge impact across the service, and this new role is a reflection of that. 👏

As Homelessness Support Lead, Cassidy will continue supporting people experiencing homelessness directly, alongside helping guide and strengthen practice across the team through reflective support, casework quality assurance, and day-to-day guidance.

We’re incredibly proud to see Cassidy grow within EGG and excited for the positive impact she’ll continue to make for both the team and the people we support. 💫

✨ We’re recruiting a Support Worker, Greater Manchester ✨

At EGG (Engage, Grow, Go), we support people with lived experience of homelessness to rebuild their lives, not just in the short term, but for the future.

We’re looking for a Support Worker to provide 1 to 1, person centred support, helping people access housing, employment, life skills, and opportunities for independence.

This role would suit someone compassionate, resilient, and committed to creating long term change.

Role details:
• Salary: £27,500, rising to £30,000 after 12 months
• 40 hours per week
• Hybrid working opportunities may be available
• Based in Greater Manchester

Cassidy & Sarah are at a Women’s Aid support event today, hosting a drop-in session for women experiencing homelessness who are ready to take their next step forward. 🩵

They’ll be offering support, guidance, and encouragement to help women move back into employment, rebuild confidence, and regain independence.

Sometimes all it takes is the right support at the right time. ✨
