Hello everyone!! It was lovely to meet you all yesterday ☺️

Next week we are having our give it a go and what better way to start the semester than with the island game!

Tomorrow is murder mystery night!

Come along and try to solve the mystery 🫆👮‍♂️

Also, tomorrow we will be voting for the location of our international trip (taking place during reading week in semester 2). There are 3 locations to choose from, the committee has made a short ‘what do to in…’ presentation for each. The vote will take place at the start of the meeting before the murder mystery begins!

It’s almost time for our first meeting of the semester!!

Our infamous and traditional Island Game is a competitive quiz with prizes for the winning island!!

We will be meeting in C2A7 in the Cottrell building on Wednesday 17th September at 7pm - don’t worry if you can’t find us, we will have a committee member in the Atrium to help!!

It’s been a few weeks now since our final event of the semester and also the final event for a lot of our fourth years. We had an absolute blast letting our hair down and having a bit of good old fun with our awards and then our games.

Our fourth years and 2024/25 committee would like to thank all our members over the years for the memories. This society has became a space for our members to be able to have some fun and get away from the stresses of uni and leaving has been very hard. But we wish our new committee all the best for the coming years and we can’t wait to see what you all get up to!

Hey lovely people!

It’s final meeting week :(

As a committee we have decided that we will be finishing a week early this semester, which makes this week not only our AGM but also our final meeting of the year. Due to this we wanted to do something a bit different and fun. 🎉

After our AGM on Wednesday 2nd April, we will hold our first ever ✨History Society Awards Evening✨; we will have music, games, and our award ceremony (you are also more than welcome to bring your own nibbles!)

Not only is it important that we have as many members as we can there next week for the AGM, but for us fourth years, it is our last ever meeting of the History Society and it would mean the world to us to spend the evening with all you lovely people! ❤️
