Mickey thinks it’s time for blankies now the weather is cooler at night 😅
Roo is recovering well from her spay, the problem now is stopping her from running and jumping 🤦🏼♀️
Ella went to the groomers today, thank you Dapper Dog Grooming Baldock she looks super cute again 🥰
I’ve booked Father Ted in so we can start getting his coat an even length and growing his ruff back in ❤️
Rocky had bloods yesterday, once we have the results back we are starting a trial dose of steroids. This will give us an answer as to whether there is any inflammation lurking. If there’s no noticeable change he will be tapered off and we will possibly try LDopa (this is the drug used for Parkinson’s in humans, I took something similar when I had a tumour on my pituitary gland).
If no changes on that then we will leave him as he is, CH is non progressive and he’s doing really well 🥰
He did a runner in Pets at Home yesterday, well as much of a runner as he can do, little monkey was grinning like a loon 🤦🏼♀️ He’s just a little bit naughty and I love it 😆
Penelope is in for spay on Friday, then she will be ready for rehoming. She is fully recovered from her prolapse and has no health issues. Her coat looks amazing and she’s gained the weight she needed. She’s a beautiful little cat 🥰
Father Ted is in for a dental at the same time, I think he will need at least one tooth out, when I say his breath smells like something died in there, that’s no exaggeration! 😷
They’re all making the most of the sun while we still have it, afternoons are for laying out on the patio and seeing who can find the warmest spot.
Dolly still has a good quality of life, she doesn’t seem to have got any worse at the moment 🥰
Echo is possibly going to foster at the weekend, we’re just trying to juggle logistics.
Saturday we will be at our local nursery for an event.
Zoé’s book is so close to being finalised, they’re waiting for me to sign off the last bits, I just haven’t had time to properly focus on it so I’ll prioritise that tomorrow 😊
Piggly went off to her new family at the weekend, she’s settled in really well, she’s very missed here 🥰
It’s always busy, but this week feels extra busy with appointments and visits (some we hadn’t planned for) hopefully next week will be a bit calmer, I’ve still got the hallway and cloakroom to finish painting😅
