Toilet Training Tips 🚽
Check out these helpful tips from ERIC UK to support your little one on their toilet training journey:

🚻 Get them involved: Start by letting your child help with changing their nappy. Change them standing up, let them assist with clothing, and wash hands together afterward.
🚻 Talk about potty time: Use the right words for wee and poo. Let your child know if their nappy is wet or dry and talk about what’s inside.
🚻 Use a reward system: Create a fun reward system like a sticker chart or lucky dip. Celebrate each milestone, like getting dressed or washing hands!
🚻 Read potty training books: Find picture books about potty training and enjoy them together!
🚻 Reach out for support: Talk to your health visitor or children's centre for additional advice.

📢 Bedwell Active Rhyme Time – Important Update!

Due to the popularity of our Tuesday Active Rhyme Time sessions, we’re pleased to announce that, from Tuesday 20th October 2026, we’ll be trialing two morning sessions to help manage numbers and ensure everyone can enjoy their Active Rhyme Time experience!

⏰ Session times:
🎵 Session 1: 9:30am – 10:30am
🎵 Session 2: 10:45am – 11:45am

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 A few important things to know:

- Each session will be limited to 12 families.
- Both sessions will be exactly the same, just at different times.
- Sessions will remain drop-in, so there’s no need to book!
- We’ll aim to share numbers fairly between both sessions to help keep them enjoyable for everyone.

Please arrive at the start time of the session you’d like to attend. Once a session has started and reached its limit of 12 families, unfortunately, we won’t be able to accommodate any additional families in that session.

☕ If you need to wait for the next session, we have a free café on site for you to enjoy in the meantime.

💬 This is a trial for now, and we’ll be reviewing how it works for everyone. We kindly ask for your patience and understanding as we introduce this change and work hard to maintain the high quality of our sessions.

NHS guidelines recommend introducing solid foods at around 6 months. This session is suitable for families with babies aged 4–6 months and will cover:
