Talking to your baby or young child about what they are thinking, feeling, and experiencing is really important. This is called having an attuned conversation.

Being attuned means tuning in to your child noticing their facial expressions 😊, body language 🤗, and behaviour 👀, and trying to understand what they might be feeling or thinking at that moment.

Babies and young children go through lots of different emotions every day, but they are not yet able to understand or manage these feelings on their own. They need caring adults ❤️ to help them make sense of what they are experiencing as they grow.

🎥 Watch the video below to find out more about how you can tune in to your child’s emotions 🥰 and support their feelings in everyday moments.

SEND Chat and Play

Our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Chat and Play sessions are a great opportunity to come and meet other families going through a similar journey, in a relaxed environment.

Our SEND Champions are on hand to talk about the services we offer, signpost to different organisations or to simply act as a listening ear.

All are welcome whether your child is diagnosed or you are concerned about a possible need. We have toys out for the children or you can come by yourself.
We hope to see you soon!
