šŸŒPOSTCARDS FROM AROUND THE WORLD šŸŒ

Weā€™re excited to be taking part in Quantum Careā€™s ā€˜Postcards From Around the Worldā€™ campaign this September! Inspired by todayā€™s World Letter Writing Day, weā€™re inviting people from all around the world to pick up a pen and send a handwritten postcard to our care home.

Our challenge? To receive postcards from as many different countries as possible! As the postcards arrive, our residents will add a sticker to the world map displayed in our home, ticking off each country we receive a postcard from šŸ’Œ

And thereā€™s a little friendly competition too! Weā€™ll be competing against other Quantum Care homes, with the winning home being the one that receives postcards from the highest number of different countries.

Tyler had ordered some new flavours for us to try. We had a choice of blackcurrant and clotted cream and mint chocolate chip, with a selection of sauces to choose from, and no ice cream cone is complete without a flake.
There were smiles all round and everyone enjoyed their ice cream

This week at Jubilee we have had two wonderful sessions of knit and natter.
Some of our lovely residents have been busy knitting squares to make our blanket. Some have been making pom poms . These sessions are always filled with sharing of happy memories and lots of laughter.
