The Stute

The Stute Founded in 1909 in Earl Shilton we are now a registered charity & community centre. Snooker pool Preschool & Ju Jitsu are just some of the activities here.

Set up by local business men in 1909 The Stute has been at the heart of Earl Shilton community and been taken to heart through its warm social community spirit and various activities it has in the large building it owns. With 5 snooker tables, pool table tennis darts and a free retro arcade machine available on weekday evenings and senior snooker session twice a week Tuesday & Thursday. Upstairs

is a large 70ft by 24ft gym which is used for Ju Jitsu, Keep fit classes as well as a privately run children's pre school nursery called Little Stars these are just a few off the reasons we have been here over 113 years. There are games clubs a food bank as well as meetings held in the 2 downstairs meeting rooms, as well as a tv with games for people to use to pass the time, young or old The Stute serves the community from cradle to grave. Wifi facilities and disabled access to the downstairs areas we are striving to stay useful to the community and bring people from their homes to a warm and relaxing fun place to meet up with friends or colleagues.

Table 3 the place to get the big breaks again. A lovely 83 from Adam until he done the cardinal sin we all do, changed his mind on the shot, still a great break.

Table 1 is looking impressive, I’ve had Barry make the pockets tighter and they’re now the tightest at the club.

The Stute like most of Earl Shilton at the moment has no water. Severn Trent are aware and hopefully restoring services soon.
