👋SECOND-HAND BIKE SALE👋

Sunday May 10th, on the Kinecroft as part of the Wallingford Vehicle Rally & Parade.

The Treehouse School are collecting bikes that you would like to get rid of. As each bike is serviced, due to the timing of the event, at this stage, we can only accept bikes that are in a good condition. 🚴‍♀️

If you would like to sell your own bike on the day, bring it along between 0900 and 1000 and we will sell on your behalf. Return at 1600 and you receive 75% of the sale price or your unsold bike. 🙏

If you are looking 👀 to buy a bike we generally have over 100 bikes for sale, ranging from small balance bikes to adult bikes. We also sell accessories - bike seats, trailers, tag alongside, pumps etc. 10.00 am onwards.

CHEC were at May Day with their bicycle powered smoothie maker making pedal powered healthy drinks. Thank you to Cholsey Tesco for donating fruit to make the smoothie's and enable us to offer the activity for free. Tesco Cholsey Parish Council Cholsey Pavilion

Thank you to all those who attended the litter pick on Saturday. The general consensus is that there is less litter and our village is cleaner than it has been 👏👏👏, so maybe the litter picks, plus the quiet army of weekly litter pickers only occasionally seen, are having a positive effect. There were definitely some hotspots of litter around the village so thank you to all those who spotted and cleared those areas. A BIG thank you to Heather's Café Cholsey who opened specially and provided refreshments and a place to wash hands. The next one will be in the autumn and we look forward to seeing you then.

From sleeping on rooftops to growing thousands of sunflowers and attempts at Christmas number one, community spirit and resilience are at the heart of this documentary.'

Thank you so much to all those who came along to Cholsey's March Clothes Swap. We weigh all the bags of clothes that leave the Swap and we can show that over 150 people, or groups of people, weighed clothes as they left..... taking away over 330kg of clothes, which is equivalent to three female gorillas!!! We are so grateful for all the increase in clothes donations and to those people coming along. We are aware that, this time, we had so many more clothes, particularly children's clothes, that next time we are going to spread into the youth room in Oct and display the children's clothes in a way that is easier to find sizes and types of clothes. So Cholsey Clothes Swap is getting bigger and better each time and we look forward to seeing you on Oct 17th 2026.
