🍰 Crossroads Youth Club Bake Sale – Monday 16th March 🍰
On Monday 16th March, we will be holding a bake sale in aid of The Brain Tumour Charity and we need your support.
We’re asking families to help in two ways:
👩🍳 Bring along some homemade cakes or baked treats to donate.
🧁 Buy some cakes when you arrive or when you collect your child.
Cakes will be sold for £1 each (larger cakes will be sliced).
How it will work:
• Cakes can be donated when children are dropped off at 6pm.
• Parents can buy cakes at drop-off.
• We’ll keep some back for the children to buy during the evening.
• Any remaining cakes will be available when you collect your child.
If you send cakes in a container you’d like returned, please label it clearly with your child’s name.
Children who want to buy cakes during the evening will need to bring a little money with them.
Parents can also donate online via our JustGiving page if they prefer.
A QR code will be available on the night, or you can visit the page and donate directly.
⭐ Every pound raised will be doubled.
One of our sponsors, London Stone has kindly agreed to match fund everything we raise, so £1 becomes £2 for charity.
Brain tumours are one of the most complex and least survivable forms of cancer. They are the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under 40, yet receive just 3.2% of national cancer research funding.
Sadly, two of our volunteers have first-hand experience of this devastating disease, having lost close family members to brain tumours. This is a cause that means a great deal to us.
So please get baking, come along, and give generously if you can. Every cake and every pound will make a difference. ❤️
