We have teamed up with St Clare Hospice to bring one of their Light Up a Life events to the Memorial Gardens this December.☃

This special service provides a chance for you to join others in lighting a candle in memory of someone who has died and whom you wish to remember.

Everyone is welcome and alongside the candle-lighting, there will be readings and the opportunity to come together to sing some festive songs.

Please save the date and join us as we remember those who are no longer with us. 🙏

Our speaker in October is Sue Fishpool from Accuro Fundraising

Sue is the Fundraising and Communications Manager at Accuro.
Accuro is a small, local charity supporting people with a disability from the age of 8 across West Essex. Through a range of clubs and activities, Accuro provides opportunities for fun, friendship and belonging, helping people with a disability build confidence and independence, while also giving parents and carers a much-needed break.

Sue will be sharing more about Accuro and the difference its work makes to local people and families, and will also discuss how local individuals, businesses and organisations can help support its work.

Friday 2nd October, 7am-9am, The Kings Arms Hotel, Stansted Mountfitchet, £12.50 including breakfast and tea and coffee.

♻️With the heat wave continuing, Uttlesford District Council are again asking for you to get your bins out by 6am tomorrow. This is for your green and brown-lidded bins this week, and is to help refuse crews avoid the heat.
📣You can put your bins out the night before if you don't fancy getting up at dawn to make sure they're out in time
