An exciting delivery last week gave me the problem of nowhere to store the ukes I now have for workshops. I looked at a few things that were made especially for uke storage but my clever dad came up with a diy solution! Delighted with how it looks and that the ukes are out of the way!

To kick off 2026, The Ukulele Projects are offering an instrument donation to seven community ukulele groups — one in each Ukulele Project region:

The London Ukulele Project
Wales Ukulele Project
South East Ukulele Project
East Midlands Ukulele Project
East England Ukulele Project
North West Ukulele Project
Northeast Ukulele Project

Each selected group will receive:
• A U-Bass (adds warmth and depth)
• A Cajon (brings rhythm and energy)
• A Tenor Electro-Acoustic Ukulele (great for soloists)

If you run a community-focused ukulele group, or you are starting one, and you don't currently have a cajon, u-bass and someone in the group is needing a ukulele upgrade so they can perform solos! We would love for you to apply.

You can donate the instruments to specific people in your group or keep them as general instruments for multiple people to play.

Please help us spread the word. Link to apply is in the comments
Deadline to apply 30th January
