📢 It’s important to have your say on the new Local Plan for Stafford.

The decisions made today will help shape our communities, housing, transport, environment, and local services for years to come. This is your opportunity to share your views and help influence the future of Stafford.

Make sure your voice is heard and take part in the consultation. Every response matters. 💬

A consultation is now underway for residents, businesses and organisations to share their views so a new plan can be developed that will help regulate where things can and cannot be built, can prevent inappropriate development, and help protect the environment, countryside and habitats.
The initial consultation will run until 12 noon on Tuesday 28 July with the evidence helping support a "New Local Plan 2025 to 2045" for Stafford Borough.

A proposal to create a new town council for Stafford will be recommended in a report that will go before councillors in September.
It follows a six week-consultation earlier this year which received responses from around 1,000 people.
A cross-party working group on the borough council has also recommended that the new town council would not include the already parished area of Doxey.

Free entry to the event but a small fee per activity rasing funds for Friends Of Victoria Park Stafford so we can continue to put events on in the park.

Food waste caddy collections will start on your first scheduled collection day FROM 13 April 2026.
The caddies are currently being delivered across the borough - and this process will take 3-4 weeks to complete.

🐾 Be a good neighbour 🐾

Please pick up your dog’s mess on the Gravel Lane.

It’s unpleasant, unhygienic, and avoidable. Bags and bins are provided by the residents on the corner of Gravel Lane and School Lane, so there’s no excuse.

Let’s keep our area clean and safe for everyone.
