Church Eaton Mens Shed are looking for new members to join and help grow our group.

We meet on Wednesday's & Fridays 10am -2pm.

Jobs this week. -see you Wednesday & Friday between 10am-2pm

You will be pleased to hear that apart from 2 planters to be made for the cricket club we have finished the jobs list off.

A massive thanks to the few that helped achieve this.

Therefore this week we need to finish making the 2 planters which basically involves screwing them together, cutting the base pieces and feet.

The big job is to start to clear space in the groundsmans shed to make a workshop space.

There will probably be some things to take to the tip so if anyone has a trailer rather than putting dirty items in cars it would be appreciated if you could bring it.

Plenty more tasks being completed today by the club members.

Planters - we will be making more in coming weeks & planting up ready for spring & summer.

We have also finished painting the cricket club male toilets.

Thanks again for everyone's help - we are still looking for donations of tools & equipment.

Next week's activities

1.Emulsion walls in gents toilet

2. Do a full stocktake of all our tools now we have had some donated.

3. Start putting planters together, if we can rip some wood length ways first.

4. Clean up a spillage in a cupboard in the concrete shed and put our tools in there.

5. Weather and dryness if the wood permitting start to sand the fascia timber of the pavillion ready for staining.

6. Put down lino in shower room of the away dressing room.

Great work by all the guys helping out in our new home Church Eaton Cricket Club.

They have been so hospitable to allow us a place to meet & so we are repaying there kindness by helping paint the toilets & glossing doors/trims. 🎨 🖌

A big thank you also to everyone who donated and dropped off tools & materials for the club to use we are so greatful.

We are meeting again next Wednesday 10am-2pm - hope to see you there. New members encouraged to come along ☕️

Once we are further established and grow the club with more memebrs we will looking at undertaking some tasks for the parish council & the village of Church Eaton 💪

We are looking for donations of hand tools, power tools, wood, screws, ppe etc.

Basically anything we could use to help our club & DIY related that you may have lying around gathering dust.
