What to expect from a Circle of Friends Meeting...

✨️ a cuppa with like minded people
✨️ a confidential place talk or listen
✨️ a relaxed and informal space
✨️ a place to ask questions or share your story
✨️ a place to make friends

The Stone Group meets at Stone Funeralcare on alternate Wednesdays anytime between 2pm and 4pm (the next one is tomorrow 5th Aug).

The Stafford Group meets at Stafford Leisure Centre (near to Asda) on alternate Thursdays between 2pm and 4pm (the next one is this Thursday 6th Aug).

Both groups are free to attend and no need to book, just come along✨️✨️✨️

We are so incredibly humbled to receive th Kings award for Voluntary Service award and it's all down to all the incredible volunteers who make this service available and to the Trustees, Admin staff, our clients, the members of both the Stone and Stafford Circle of Friends (bereavement support groups) and supporting organisations plus everyone who has ever donated and supported with fundraising. What a team! Thank you 🙏

I’ve never seen one of these before. A wind phone. Si King shared it on Instagram the other day.

I think it might be a Japanese idea originally where there’s a disconnected phone in a garden.

People go there to talk to the people they’ve lost. Not because anyone answers or because it “fixes” grief.

Just because sometimes love needs somewhere to go. I think that’s beautiful.

We spend so much time pretending we’re fine, moving on, staying busy, “being strong”

Meanwhile, a little old rotary phone in the wind is quietly reminding people that missing someone is normal. That continuing the conversation is normal.
