It's coming home... It's coming home...!.🏆
Never mind the world cup, our two Patrols that entered the District Lord Stafford Cup camping Competition have just won 1st 🥇 (Haggis Patrol) and 2nd🥈 (Moose Patrol) place!
Against 6 other teams from across the District the Patrols had to run their camps by themselves, cooking meals on fires 🔥 building pioneered 🪢 structures and were subject to regular site inspections 🧾
Our two teams won by some distance. A credit to their amazing Scouting skills, fantastic teamwork and effective leadership. Phenomenal effort! 💪 They've got some very proud leaders 🥲 Well done 🥳

Haggis and Moose 🫎 patrols are setting up their campsites ⛺ at the District Lord Stafford Cup Camping Competition.
8 patrols from Troops across the District are competing for the coveted trophy 🏆 that can be traced back to the 1930s.

Tents down, the field almost empty. The camp was concluded with flag down a time to look back on the camp, present awards and say thank you to all the adults and leaders for giving up their bank holiday weekend, as well as the hours of planning.
