Last morning on camp started with the traditional wake up method - big pan and wooden spoon πŸ₯„ followed by packing away all the tents and cleaning the camp in very good time πŸ•°οΈ. Scouts had lunch of pastries, fruit and left over cereal before having a camp review talking about their favourite activities and what they would like to do more of! We even had ice cream to finish the week! 🍦

As is tradition on the last night of camp, scouts had chippy tea! 🍟🐟 followed by teaching the Scottish scouts we were sharing the camp with how to dance to Cotton Eye Joe and Footloose πŸ’ƒπŸ•Ί finishing up with roasting marshmallows and singing campfire songs 🎢🎡

Sadly the weather gods have been a bit cheeky and decided to rain on us, so the scouts had an impromptu visit to the swimming baths this morning πŸŠβ€β™€οΈπŸŠβ€β™‚οΈπŸŠ followed by a lunch of tomato pasta 🍝 with bacon πŸ₯“ and mixed veggies 🌽

Tonight was the return of DUCTH OVEN BEEF STEW πŸ₯©πŸ₯˜πŸ² with dumplings and Yorkshire pudding, an absolute camp favourite! πŸ˜‹ it only took 14 litres of water… but it makes it so so good! Special thank you to Sebby, Jake and Adrian who were stood in the rain for a few hours keeping the fire lit and the water topped up for the stew πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
