Thank you everyone who came to the luncheon. Delicious food, great company and a wonderful speaker!

Today, we were delighted to welcome representatives from Shropshire, Staffordshire & Cheshire Blood Bikes to our SBAS Ladies Committee Luncheon.

Our guests gave a fascinating and inspiring insight into the incredible work carried out by their dedicated volunteers, who give their time to transport vital medical supplies, including blood, samples and other essential items, helping to support our NHS. 🩸

It was a wonderful opportunity to learn more about this remarkable charity and the difference their volunteers make to so many lives.

A huge thank you to the team for taking the time to visit us, share their experiences and bring along one of their impressive blood bikes!

We’re delighted to be welcoming Staffordshire Federation of Women’s Institutes to the Staffordshire County Showground for their Love Yourself Wellness Day this September.

📅 Saturday 26th September 2026
⏰ 10am – 4pm
📍 Members’ Pavilion, Staffordshire County Showground
🎟️ FREE EVENT – open to WI members and non-members

A relaxing day just for women,
with a fantastic variety of activities including chair yoga, mindful art, hand massage, journaling, wellbeing talks, health checks, trade stalls and much more.

☕ There’ll even be free tea, coffee and water throughout the day!
Some activities are for WI members only and require pre-booking – see the poster for full details.

What a fantastic few days. Everyone has worked so hard to bring everything together but we couldn’t have been such a success without all those who entered the competitions….. thank you. We had a little surprise visit from Caz (winner of the 2025 Great British Sewing Bee) too! Thank you to our sponsors Pickering & Butter who gave all the prize money.
