A big thank you to Ben Smith Appliance Specialist and the team.

I popped in today to buy a small fridge for the volunteer kitchen in our new charity shop in Silverhill, because I wanted to shop local. They had the one we needed. When I said it was for the charity, the owner told me we could have it for free. Thank you for your generosity!

We are very grateful and our volunteers will make good use of it.

If you need a washing machine, cooker, dishwasher or a repair, Ben Smith Appliance Specialist sell new, used and reconditioned appliances and offer a home call out service. Please pop in and say hello.

We are opening our new charity shop at 1 Sedlescombe Road North, Silverhill, St Leonards on Sea, on Tuesday 27th October.

We have only moved about 100 metres from our old shop, so you won't have far to go.

Our shops are the place for true charity shop bargains. Customers tell us it feels like a community hub, somewhere to browse, have a chat and see a friendly face. The shop is run entirely by volunteers.

Every purchase and donation helps us support people with sight loss across Hastings and Rother. We have been doing that since 1921.

We are still looking for volunteer shop assistants and volunteer drivers. If you would like to help, message us or pop in and say hello.

We would love to see you on opening day.
