Ents Crew

Make events happen. From the Bop to live music to standup, we're the people who organise, run and manage the Union's events! Got an event or want to help out?

Email us at [email protected] The Entertainments (Ents) Crew is a voluntary sub-committee of the St Andrews Student Association charged with organising, running and managing the Union's events. We are a group of people interested in the behind-the-scenes aspect to the various forms of entertainment the Union provides. The best part of the Ents crew? We are all volunteers - usually with no professional training. All that is required is a bit of enthusiasm, willingness to pick up new skills and a love of 'live' and you'll fit right in. Because we all volunteer, we want to be there and this creates a great atmosphere at events - we are always trying to have a laugh whilst working. It's a union subcommittee so everyone in the University is technically already a member. All you need to do is let us know and we'll add you to the mailing list so you can keep up to date and we're always looking for new people. Drop us a line at [email protected] if you're interested! Want even more teching in your life? Why not join the Mermaids Tech Team! They specialise in the behind-the-scenes aspect of theatre productions. Their facebook group can be found at http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=30838368815&v=info

Refreshers saw us go bigger than ever before. With our unique goalpost stage package lighting up the room and some fresh software in the mix, Ents Crew delivered another iconic event lineup. From rodeo nights to live acts, it was a packed week both in 601 and up in Tech Box, with all crew pulling together to make it a week to remember. Great job everyone!
