British Sign Language for Everyone

British Sign Language for Everyone I'm a hearing person with British Sign Language level 3 and linguistics in BSL. I believe anyone can learn BSL!

Learning BSL can have cognitive benefits, improve memory, and provide opportunities in communication and connections with the Deaf community.

She's got a point.

Communication is a two way thing so learn what you can, when you can and community, friendship and connection will follow 🙌

In my last video I demonstrated the BSL sign for TRAMPOLINE

The two fingers in a 'V' pointing downwards are your legs

How to sign FLIP
✌️⬅️ flip upside down
Move upwards
then
Index fingers point towards each other and roll around each other moving forward

Hope that helps 🙌

So much respect and admiration to the in-vision interpreter 🙌

Hands down they are better than the performers 😁

I love seeing sign language represented and this is brilliant!

BSL next please 🙌

In BSL the two fingers represent the legs so the sign TRAMPOLINE is the 'legs'✌️ jumping on a flat hand which represents the trampoline 🫱

Hope you have that 'ah' moment 😁

What do you think the sign for WALK is?

'Dancing with your hands'

That's a beautiful analogy
