National Apprenticeship Week 2024 Celebration Friday!

Let us congratulate our apprentices on their remarkable achievements. Working towards an apprenticeship and working full time is no walk in the park, it takes hard work and commitment, and these folks have this. A big well done and lots of recognition, to all our apprentices that have achieved their nationally recognised qualifications here at The Salvation Army.

Here's what Anita, a Divisional Youth Specialist has to say about taking on apprentices:

"Being able to give young people an opportunity to be employed and receive training to equip them with a certified youth support worker L3 qualification over 18 months is such a rewarding experience. The impact the apprentices are having on the division and the wider team is so encouraging as they put there learning into experiential practice. There are so many benefits of the apprenticeship, not just for the individuals but as a positive example and encouragement to others who would aspire to become an apprentice and be equipped and enabled for their employment. If you are able to provide an apprentice role in your area of work – do it!"
