Welcome to the new page for Holy Trinity Church! Holy Trinity was built to care for you.

Since it was built, people who live outside the parish have also chosen to worship here. So, whether you live in the parish, or have a connection to it, or just find yourself here, Holy Trinity Church is open for you. Service times:

Daily (except Mondays)
Morning Prayer at 9am
Eucharist at 9.30am
Evening Prayer at 5pm/Choral Evensong on Wednesdays at 7pm (during term time)

Sundays
Morning Prayer at 8am
Eucharist at 8.30am
Solemn Eucharist at 10.00am

Come and join us for Choral Evensong tonight at 7pm! We’ll be singing the Walmisley’s setting of the canticles in D Minor, and the anthem is a beautiful setting by Richard Lloyd of words written in the 17th century by Thomas Campion: ‘View me, Lord, a work of thine’. Come and conclude the day with a time of stillness, prayer, and beautiful music. All are very welcome!

Please note that there is no service next week owing to the half term break. Choral Evensong resumes on 4th November.

⛪️ The Sung Eucharist is at 10:00, and today includes music by Gabrieli, Croce, Mozart, and Dubois.

Tonight at Choral Evensong, we will be singing the wonderful ‘Evening Hymn’ by Henry Balfour Gardiner, and the canticles are sung to the setting in B Minor by Thomas Tertius Noble, who after working as Organist of York Minster, moved to take up a similar post at the church of St Thomas on the Fifth Avenue in New York City. The hymn tonight is ‘Come labour on’, which is set to the tune ‘Ora Labora’, and was also composed by Noble. Come and join us for this glorious music at 7pm! It is the perfect way to end the day, and all are very welcome.

Join us for Choral Evensong tonight at 7pm! We’ll be singing Herbert Sumsion’s setting of the canticles in G Major, and the anthem is a beautiful setting by Franz Biebl of the Angelus, a Marian prayer traditionally said three times daily, recalling the incarnation and annunciation. All are welcome to join us for this service of beautiful music and readings, which lasts around 30 minutes.

Join us for Choral Evensong tonight at 7pm! We’ll be singing Herbert Brewer’s setting of the canticles in D Major, and the anthem is ‘Give us the wings of faith’ by Ernest Bullock. As always, all are welcome for this service of music and readings, which lasts around half an hour: the perfect way to conclude a busy day!

Come to Choral Evensong tonight at 7pm, as we begin our observance of the feast of Our Lady of Walsingham, which falls tomorrow. We’ll be singing canticles by Charles Wood, and the anthem is a lovely setting of the Marian prayer ‘Ave Maria’ (Hail Mary) by Simon Lindley. All are very welcome to join us!
