Our Story
Aim: To provide a safe, secure and structured environment rooted in Christian values for children and young people to go to outside of school, at low cost, which offers them a sense of belonging, opportunities to learn new skills, build confidence and resilience for the future and have fun. Objectives: The activities and support from club leaders and volunteers will enable the young people to: 1. Develop quality peer relationships 2. Engage in informal, respectful relationships with adults 3. Participate in activities that are based on the Christian values of love, acceptance, trust, friendship, forgiveness, thankfulness, justice, compassion Permanent features of the Youth Club: • Tuck Shop • Crafts (Have generic activities but a different key craft each week) • Sports • Beauty • Table Tennis & Pool Table • Board games / Reading area / Relaxing area HYTC established September 2015 at Holy Trinity Southport. HTYC is affiliated to Holy Trinity Southport Church and will abide by their rules and safeguarding children and young people policy.
HYTC will operate Friday evenings, 2 per month, 19.00-21.00 and is for children aged between 9-16 years old.
Entry Fee - £2.00 per child
We operate a Youth Leader Scheme also for 16 - 18 year olds to gain valuable skills in helping and supporting our group and children, whilst learning organisational, team building, respect, peer relationships and life skills useful for college, university and future careers.
