Looking to meet new people? Want to help your community? Would like to support a local charity? We are Shirley Ladies Circle. A social group for women who want to make new friends, have fun and make a difference within their local community. We meet twice a month, enjoy a wide range of activities, raise money for our nominated charity by volunteering at the Shirley Beer & Cider festival, the Donke
y Darby, the Shirley fireworks and the Santa Sleigh (all of which are great fun!)
We also attend national and area events, fancy balls, AGMs, crafting days, award ceremonies and much much more. The charity we are supporting this year is Mind - supporting the fight for mental health. Some of our past events and socials include: pizza making, wine tasting, Shirley beer & Cider Festival, theatre trips, jewellery making, bouldering, crazy golf, animal sanctuary visits, quiz nights, dance classes, chocolate making, wreath making, outdoor cinema trips.... and many more! We also have a Circle weekend away each year, either in the UK or somewhere further afield. Whatever we do, we have fun doing it!
