A Pegasus Scout Network update:

So... it's been a while. We'll be honest, it's been busy and hard to get everyone in one place at the same time for joint adventures, and that meant our adventures weren't as good. So we've decided to rest Pegasus for the moment.

Got a group of 18-25 year olds who want to hang out in Scouts? Great, we'll be ready to rise again when the time comes.

However for the handful of current members, we suggest you join in with the Hampshire virtual network so you can still join in for the bigger events that need numbers to work. You can find details on the Hampshire Scouts website:

So long, and thanks for all the fish.

Steven has been our lead volunteer for Network (District Scout Network Commissioner if you're feeling fancy) since 2019 but now he's handed over the baton.

Michael Doncom is taking on the lead for Scout Network in addition to his role as Youth lead for the district. Please do welcome him to his new role and send any questions you have about Scout Network to him.

Network is all about our members getting involved and doing what they like. If there's an appetite then go for it!

Whether it's directly relevant to you or useful for a top award community element, we've had a message from Arthritis Action.

Arthritis Action has recently launched a young adult hub to support people from the age of 18-25. This has a great range of resources and information to help manage the pain and associated symptoms with confidence.

A big congratulations to Kimberly-Kate Homans, who this evening completed her King's Scout Award presentation to a group of young people from across Hampshire learning about the award and how they reach the top.

That's the last part of her award meaning she's done it! Nice one and good luck for the next part of your journey in Aberdeen, a little different to the New Forest!

The Scouts youth advocate recruitment is now live! This is a role to give young people in Scouts an opportunity to meet with MPs, ministers and decision makers and shape Scouts public policy.
