Join Annabel from Memories to Miniatures this Saturday for a relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop where you’ll transform treasured clothing into beautiful miniature garments for children aged 0-11, creating keepsakes that can be loved for years to come.

Along the way, you’ll learn basic sewing techniques, how to deconstruct existing garments, reduce waste and build confidence in upcycling, all in a friendly and supportive environment.

Workshop Dates

📅 Saturday 8th & Saturday 15th August

Choose the option that suits you:

🧵 Morning: 10:00am – 1:30pm

🧵 Afternoon: 2:00pm – 5:30pm

Or book the full day (10:00am – 5:30pm).

Attend one morning or afternoon session across both Saturdays, or spend the full day with us on each date for even more sewing time.

What’s Included

✨ Beginner-friendly tuition

✨ Bring your own keepsake or unwanted clothing

✨ Create miniature garments, scrunchies etc

✨ Refreshments provided

💷 £75 Now £50 per person

If you’ve always wondered whether sewing is something you’d enjoy, there’s only one way to find out.

Our Thursday Afternoon Beginners Class gives you the opportunity to learn in a relaxed environment with guidance available throughout. Can’t make our early afternoon sessions? Book our Thursday evening 5:00 – 7:30pm.

You’ll discover how sewing machines work, learn core skills and begin building the confidence to tackle your own projects.

The last Saturday of the month is reserved for creativity.
Our Crafting Corner sessions bring together people who enjoy making, learning and exploring textile crafts in a relaxed environment.

You’ll receive guidance from an experienced tutor while working on projects such as:
• embroidery
• quilting
• patchwork
• crochet
• beadwork
• appliqué

Bring a packed lunch if you’d like.
We’ll provide the tea, coffee, biscuits and inspiration.
