Guys we are running a raffle and the draw will take place on relay day 11th July. There will be 3 prizes and prizes include champagne, wine, gin, port, smellies etc. the tickets are £1 a strip. This is a local raffle so you must be within the local area so you can either have your prize delivered or be able to collect as they will be quite weighty with bottles in them. If anyone would like tickets please message Michelle Quinn in the first instance. I (Michelle) will allocate you a strip and then you need to be able to pay for it online to our relay page or by PayPal (I will send PayPal details) to the individual if that option is chosen. If you want to buy a strip and pay cash you will need to see a team member who will let me know. I’ll start to add on pics of the prizes when I have more time.

How has a week passed already since the combatathon!! Now prep is on for Relay itself on 11th July. If you are free come and visit the team at Monkton Stadium in Jarrow from 11am Saturday 11th July. We will be doing 2 combat sessions on the day one at 2pm and one at 6pm. Most important thing you can do for the team is pray it doesn’t rain as the last few ones it’s poured down!!

Wow what an amazing day. Everyone who came today absolutely smashed it out of the park!!! We hope you enjoyed it and had a great day. From cake sales today £316 was raised which is amazing. And from ticket sales we are looking of a total of £799.87 for the combatathon. Today was about everyone coming together in the fight against cancer and from each of the instructor team we thank you and from this relay team we thank you. Relay for life Jarrow is in July 11th and we have 2 combat slots one at 2pm and 1 at 6pm. Any questions about relay just drop us a message. Next big event is a charity night in September and we will post more about this nearer the time.

So tomorrow is the day. For those of you that have tickets we thank you. Please bring plenty of cash for cakes and cuppas and raffle tickets. Cash is king but we do have a card machine if needs be. If anyone has any injuries please let one of your instructor team know before the event starts. By taking part you are agreeing you are fit enough to do so and you are not pregnant. Please bring plenty of fluids but we will be selling bottles of water if you don’t want to carry a lot. Your instructor team is Joanne, Chris, Myself Michelle, Jenn and Karen (this is in order of who will be the main instructor) but we will introduce ourselves at the start. Any questions just drop us a message. Most importantly enjoy!! And as Rachael would say “Stay with the fight”
