Good morning and happy 1st day of autumn /fall. Sadly that means darker mornings and evenings, colder and wetter days approaching.

So why don't you SAVE THE DATE of our next meeting. Friday 16th October 2026 2pm at St. Gregory’s, Borough Road , South Shields.

Each month we have a different items which can include guest speakers which can be health or hobby related ,or craft, games or guest entertainment .

All will receive a warm welcome .
£2 pp includes cuppa, biscuits /treats and a warm safe space .

2026 marks ten years of the campaign, organisations are invited to get involved in all three phases of the campaign; Back to Basics, Campaign Week, and Looking Ahead to the Next 10 Years.

'Back to Basics' reminds us of the The Four Asks:
🎯 Personalised asthma action plans
✅ Correct inhaler use
💬 Annual and after-attack reviews
🫁 Air-quality impact on lung health

The campaign week will run from the 7th to 11th September, with events that will look at how asthma care has changed over the last 10 years, and why it’s so important to keep focusing on Every Child and Every Breath and Every Neighbourhood, now and in the future.
