A big thanks to everyone who managed along to the workparty session on Saturday including a few new faces. We were pleasantly surprised by the turnout - around 11 people in all and the weather was kind to us too.
It's very true when they say many hands make light work. The good number of volunteers made a huge difference with the various tasks which the group worked through with great enthusiasm.
We cleared all the brash from the southern meadow, created log piles in the wood, added to the 'dead hedge' piles at the eastern boundary fence, tackled a selection of the ivy clad trees and removed invasive non native garlic from the patch of land to the northside of the woodland. All in all a great morning's work.
Will post here again regarding the usual Autumn Workparty session. If you'd like to be involved, please leave a comment or message us. Meanwhile our small but dedicated strimming team will keep the surrounding paths maintained over the Spring and Summer π³π¦π¦ππΏππ» π³
