SAP - The SMART Action Project CIC Big Summer Camp Out 🏕️one of the highlights of the trip: our Night Walk 🚶 🌌🚶‍♀️- our group did the circular from Cloud Farm Campsite, along the river, we shared stories of Highway Men and tales of the Lorna Doone Valley, then up to Oare Church ⛪️ 🪦which dates back to the 15th Century. We then crossed farmland over the hills - watching the sunset 🌅 and the bats come out 🦇- we rounded off the evening with toasted marshmallows and hot chocolate ☕️ 💚

SAP - The SMART Action Project CIC Big Summer Camp Out 🏕️whilst at Cloud Farm our young people worked with National Trust Rangers Fraser and Libby to build a planter from scratch - complete with hidden bug hotel - for the campsite as a thank you for hosting us 🌷🌹🌻 all our young people - and volunteers - got hands on with the power tools and worked together to create a rather professional looking addition to the garden 💚 North Devon National Trust

SAP - The SMART Action Project CIC Big Summer Camp Out 🏕️both of our groups enjoyed Forest School activities with Mia & Fin (North Devon National Trust rangers) there was a slight competitive natures as the groups were split into two teams to create a free-standing shelter - it had to fit everyone underneath and survive a ‘rain’ test ⛺️🌧️ our crew also enjoyed making boats from the natural materials available to them and seeing if they travelled and floated 🛶💚
