The Oakhill Community Heritage Project is a unique Heritage Lottery Funded project that will for the first time collect, preserve and share the rich heritage of your community of Oakhill, Surbiton. This heritage includes:
• The history of Surbiton Hospital and local community health care
• Hillcroft College and the education of women
• The history of the Oakhill community through its people, archi

tecture and development
The project has a strong emphasis on community
involvement so we would like to hear from you! If you have stories, memories, or documents about
Oakhill we would like you to share it on this page. It could be about everyday life, or significant and unusual events that happened in the area. Maybe you were an in-patient or worked at the old Surbiton Hospital, or maybe you are a long-term Oakhill
resident or business owner. Together we can preserve and share the stories of Oakhill.
