Please join us in welcoming our newest Junior Ambassador. ⭐️

"Hi 🙋🏼 I’m William and I’m really excited to be a new Junior Ambassador for Mikey’s Wish. When I was younger, I was selectively mute because I was too scared to let people hear how I speak. With help from my family, my speech therapist, school and the amazing support from Mikey’s Wish, I’ve become confident and proud of my voice - I even narrated the end of year play at school this year!
Mikey’s Wish made me feel understood and not alone. Now, I'm happy explaining to my friends and new people I meet, why my speech sounds different. I want other children to feel accepted, brave and proud of the hard work they put in every single day.

I can’t wait to help make a difference and support other families just like Mikey’s Wish supported mine."
