HELP MATTEO REACH HIS TARGET (£650 raised, £350 MORE TO GO)

Matteo would like to ask people to donate at least £1 towards ‘Young at Heart’. This donation will go towards either
❤️❤️❤️❤️
- offering families the opportunity to have a special day out making memories
❤️❤️❤️❤️
- INR machine, so they can chackntheir coagulation level at home instead of having to attend hospital visits meaning they miss school etc.
❤️❤️❤️❤️
- providing a defibrillator and pads to a club, community group the heart warrior child attends.

For every £1 you donate, you will get an entry in to the duck race, this will take place on 28th February.

There are 3 prizes up for grabs. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

HEART AWARENESS WEEK

So today is the start of Heart Awareness Week.
❤️❤️❤️🥰😍

Every day I will be making a post and some fundraising ideas. Please help me share far and wide, thank you much.

My name is Matteo I’m now 4 yrs old and at 2 yrs old I found out that I had a Congenital Heart Defect. This was picked up on scans before I was born or after I was born. I got very poorly and scared my mom, I was taken to hospital and had to stay in for a while, I had lots of test, X-rays, swabs, medication and bloods. We then found out I had a heart defect and that I would have to be looked after by Birmingham Childrens Hospital cardiologist team, they have been amazing and I am doing well.

I get support from the charity ‘Young at Heart’ that is linked to B*H and support lots of family from across The Midlands who are under B*H.

HEART AWARENESS WEEK
7-14 February

Happy new year everyone!!! Matteo enjoyed a film wrapped in his burrito blanket and noise cancelling headphones he got for Christmas!! ❤️ We have had an eventful 2024 and we are looking forward to seeing what fun we can create in 2025.

So many smiling faces. They also have Santa’s grotto which Matteo attended and he loved it and enjoyed a mince pie and hot chocolate with Santa 🎅 x

If anyone is near the Mailbox in Birmingham and wants to support a present for a child that will spend Christmas in hospital, you just grab a tag, buy a gift and return it to them and they will ensure that those not able to be home for Christmas can still have an amazing Christmas ###
