🐾 CORA IS STILL LOOKING FOR HER FOREVER HOME 🏡 🐾

Meet gorgeous Cora, a 6-year-old Mioritic Shepherd who has been through more than any dog should ever have to endure. 💔
Cora came to the UK a few months ago from Romania, after being handed into a rescue when her owners no longer wanted her. Sadly, she arrived at the rescue in a horrific condition. Her beautiful coat was severely matted, she suffered from awful skin problems caused by prolonged neglect, and she had been kept in a cramped cage.
While in Romania, Cora became so broken that she started to shut down and give up. 💔
Thankfully, Hannah and her team from Harvey’s Army UK were temporarily volunteering at the rescue and began nursing Cora back to health. They gave her the care, kindness and attention she desperately needed.
When Hannah arrived back in the UK, she discovered that this poor girl had reverted to shutting down again. She simply wasn't coping.
Rather than give up on her, Hannah followed her heart and brought Cora over to the UK, determined to give this beautiful girl the chance of the happy life she deserved. ❤️
It hasn't been easy. Cora is not good with other dogs, particularly females, meaning Hannah has had to carefully manage and keep Cora separated from her own three dogs. But she's done everything she can to give Cora the time and space she needs.

And now… Cora is ready to find her forever home. 🏡❤️

🌿 What we're looking for

Cora needs a very special home where she can finally feel safe, secure and loved.

🐾 Pet-free home
👨‍👩‍👧 Adults only, or children aged 12+
🐾 Cora needs to be the only dog in the home
🐰 She has a high prey drive and cannot live with or have access to small animals
❤️ A patient, understanding adopter who will give her time to settle and build trust

Cora has already overcome so much. She deserves a quiet, loving home where she can finally discover what life is supposed to be like.
Suki's Rescue is providing rescue back-up for Cora and will be taking applications and carrying out home checks.

Man what a whirlwind of a month!!!
Just thought I'd check in with you guys and let you know that ive found my forever humans and I just haven't had the time to leave their sides to let you guys know how amazing my life now is! I got these 2 cool human siblings that spoil me rotten and between the sofa and their beds im living like Queen B! My paw siblings are pretty cool too but they are more like house hippos 🤣
I go to work with Mum sometimes but to be honest I prefer it when she just leaves me with my crew and we chillax till they home! Got to go now I need to scope the garden before bed (I take the two body guards with me.... just incase) check in soon guys! Keep being as fabulous as ever!

This gorgeous girl Biscuit, was one of the other dogs who came over on the 'Happy Bus' with Our Billy.
She is with a wonderful Southampton Based Rescue 'A new leash for life' who have been established for many years helping dogs find their forever homes.
Biscuit is looking for a foster or forever home. Please get in touch with them for more info, if you are interested in finding out more about her 🙏

He is a such a lovely lad, we can't understand why he is constantly overlooked. ☹️
He is not an XL 'type' as he doesn't reach the measurements.
We have all his vet history, he's vaccinated and currently been on a vet plan for monthly flea and worm treatment since he was a puppy.

Lovely update from Roxy's foster dad, she's certainly on the mend...

Yesterday has felt like a real turning point for Roxy, I can't even count how many times I've had to remind her to be calm, (vets orders).
Her pr*****ed has significantly reduced and her incision is still looking nice and clean.🤞
I might have to take the elephant to the vet check up today and see if they can patch him up instead. 😅
You really wouldn't believe Roxy had surgery on Thursday one bit. 😂

🐾 BILLY BOY UPDATE — HE’S FINALLY HOME 🐾

Billy arrived safely with us at 10pm last night 🇬🇧🎉

After everything this beautiful boy has been through, it was so lovely to finally welcome him into the UK and begin the next chapter of his life.
We took Billy straight over to his lovely foster home, where he could relax, settle in and get some much-needed sleep after his long journey. 😴💤
But first, of course, he needed some supper, lots of fusses and plenty of love from everyone 🥰❤️ And once he’d had all that, he decided it was time to get stuck into his brand-new toys 🧸💞
Honestly, Billy is just the most loving, gentle boy. Despite the horrific ordeal he has endured, he has so much love to give, and watching him begin to relax and enjoy the simple things in life is just beautiful.
A warm bed, a full tummy, cuddles, toys and people who adore him. The things every dog should have, but things Billy has waited far too long for.
Billy, your suffering is behind you now, sweetheart. Your happy-ever-after starts here. ❤️🐾
We want to say a HUGE thank you to "Turkish Tails" for everything they have done for Billy, also to "Above Board Pet Board Pet Travel" and everyone involved in getting him safely to the UK, and of course to his wonderful foster family for opening their home and hearts to him.❤️
Billy's story broke our hearts, but we have a feeling his future is going to fill them right back up again. 💖

🎉 Thursday morning, our Billy and his friends joined the 'Happy Bus' from Turkey for a long road trip to join us in the UK. The countries he has travelled through so far are Bulgaria Romania, Hungary Austria, Germany Belgium and France. They arrived in the UK this morning and all dogs are being dropped off to their new rescues. We are expecting Billy to be with us in the next hour 🥳 and we are sooo excited 🎉🎊
Thank you to everyone who shared his post. He's got a lovely foster home waiting for his arrival 💜❤️💜
