Do pop this in your diary! All our meet ups have been such a success with everyone sharing a sequence, pranayama or reading for our first hour and then talked the yoga teacher life stuff over drinks and nibbles.

Hello BWY Teachers
have you seen the advise from our BWY insurers sent by email this morning? If you need to update your First Aid Certificate (3 year renewal) please get in touch and maybe help run the next one in your county. We have none planned so please do get involved to support fellow teachers and a bit of Karma yoga to give back to our community.

Here is the paragraph advising:
"In the past, holding a First Aid certificate has been recommended rather than required. However, our insurers have advised that if an injury occurs during a class and there is no trained first aider available at the time, any resulting claim may not be covered. This could mean that the teacher becomes personally liable."

Unlike other CPD events on menopause and midlife health, this day is led by Sarah Leroux, who is an advanced nurse specialist with a clinical focus on menopause and who has a deep commitment to the healing power of Yoga. This dual perspective ensures the content is:

 Clinically accurate and up-to-date
 Sensitive and holistic
 Grounded in real-world experience and evidence.

This unique blend of medical knowledge and yogic philosophy allows for a broad and inclusive approach to understanding the physiological and emotional shifts in midlife and how yoga can be a vital tool for navigating them.

The day is suitable for yoga teachers and BWY members who have an interest in women’s health. All genders and levels of yoga experience are welcome.

Come and discover new ways of combining traditional yoga practices to move towards deeper physical healing and feel afresh the great benefits of yoga. This exploratory day with Rosie will give you time to reflect and release. It is designed to deepen your understanding of this transformation towards physical healing. We shall do this by investigating Nyasa, the practice of moving our consciousness into particular areas of the body.

Rosie brings a wealth of experience and humour to her teaching which will help you to open in a safe environment.

Do You Need CPD Hours? Tabitha our Hampshire Rep has set up an online training day and chosen Sunday for those of you who teach Saturdays.

Hayley Giles is a BWY diploma course tutor with years of experience teaching core yoga philosophy. This event is 7.5 points of training that includes Yoga Sutras, reducing klesha and yoga of action (karma yoga). Bring an object to connect you to Isvara like a crystal, stone or flower.
