See if you can spot Slaithwaite Library's ‘Dorothy’ in the village on Sunday, as part of Ruddi's Slawit Scarecrow Fest.
And if you visit us on Saturday, you can borrow Wizard of Oz and Scarecrow stories.

On Monday 30th March, join Slaithwaite Library for some free fact-finding fun with our All About Non-Fiction Storytrail. Pick up your trail sheet from the library and find the facts hidden around Spa Park - are they True or Poo? Test your knowledge, learn something new and share your discoveries with your friends. This is a free event, recommended for families with children up to age 8. The trail is outdoors so please dress appropriately for the weather.

MAKING FACES
Drop-in printmaking fun with West Yorkshire Print Workshop.

Come and have fun with West Yorkshire Print Workshop at your local library!

If you like building with colourful bricks and making things with your hands, then this workshop is for you. Design your own characters using square paper. Bring your creatures to life using building blocks - think pixel art and space invaders! We will show you how to ink up your bricks and print using colourful inks. You might even layer your colours to add details and accessories. Come and get inky and explore the magic of printmaking!

You only need to book for children, adults attend as plus 1.

These events are free, but spaces are limited - If you are unable attend please email [email protected] so that your place can be offered to another.
For children aged 6 and above, and their families.
