What a fantastic week at Skipton Bridge Club. We had a record attendance at both our Duplicate sessions. On Tuesday, 42 members and guests played and we were delighted to welcome two new faces. And, on Thursday, a further 40 members came along. Thank you to all our members and visitors for helping to create a thriving club.

Nearly forty members and guests attended Skipton Bridge Club's second bridge weekend, this time in Harrogate. We enjoyed 4 sessions of bridge, Harrogate's many attractions and a lot of chatting and laughter. Many thanks to all involved for making it such a friendly and fun event.

What a fun time we had last night at our Club Christmas Party. More than 50 members attended the seasonal social and enjoyed an evening filled with chat, laughter, a delicious buffet and a few rounds of sociable bridge.

We took a moment to reflect on a very successful year for the club. In January, we held our first Bridge Weekend in Lytham St Annes - we look forward to the next one in Harrogate. We enjoyed our AGM and Summer Party in July, followed by our first Open Day, in October, when we welcomed new and experienced players to our club. We also continued to run our popular Beginner and Improver sessions. Thank you to all our members who contribute so much to the activities.

What a great turnout for our Beginners & Improvers session yesterday evening. We had tables to suit all levels - complete novices, improving players and 'rusty returners'. Everyone enjoyed learning in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Thank you to all our members and visitors who attended Skipton Bridge Club Open Day yesterday. It was a very enjoyable afternoon filled with Bridge playing, conversation and (delicious) cakes!

We were delighted to welcome our visitors, of all levels of experience, who mingled with our members and found playing tables to suit them. Thank you for joining us and contributing to a relaxed and entertaining afternoon.
