The amazing Sir David Attenborough turns 100 years old! 🎂 🍾

We wanted to mark this momentus age by meeting up and having a little party!

We'll have some

plants for sale 🌱
some snacks 🍪
watch some David Attenborough together. 🎬

Contributions of plants and snacks most welcome and BYOB.

Look forward to seeing you at the community centre upper room, 7:30 on Friday the 8th May!

Massive thanks to the litter pickers of Skelmorlie! We had every weather but made it for over an hour and collected lots of rubbish! Among the items collected were

Brake disks
6x indistrial patio cleaner ( complete with warning that it kills wildlife)
Full bag of compost
Broke traffic cones
Big hinges lying nails up ( right where you might want to swim)
And the usual oodles of cotton bud sticks and tampon applicators.

Always leave feeling satisfied and the beach noticeably cleaner!

Awesome tree pruning session with our favourite professional Gardener Marie and experienced helpers too!

After helping our community trees, lots of us feeling empowered to go home and tackle the trees in our own gardens!
