Ever bought a planner because this one will finally change everything...

Then three days later you find it under a pile of clothes, completely forgotten? πŸ‘€

Same.

For many girls with ADHD, routines and organisation aren’t about finding the β€œperfect system”.

Because the perfect system probably doesn’t exist.

ADHD can impact:

πŸ’œ remembering what needs doing
πŸ’œ knowing where to start
πŸ’œ keeping track of time
πŸ’œ staying motivated when something feels overwhelming

So instead of asking:

β€œWhy can’t I just be organised?”

Try asking:

β€œWhat would make this easier for my brain?”

Maybe that’s:

🎧 a study playlist
⏰ timers
πŸ“ colourful reminders
πŸ“± phone prompts
✨ keeping things where you can actually see them

ADHD-friendly routines are allowed to look different.

Organised chaos still counts πŸ’œ

Flexible and realistic routines can help reduce overwhelm, support memory, and create a sense of predictability. The key is adapting routines to suit the individual, rather than expecting strict or rigid systems to work. Personalised approaches are often more effective than one-size-fits-all solutions.

πŸŽ‰ TODAY IS THE DAY. Unstoppable Parents is officially open.

Watch Clare's video above and then keep reading, because we want to make sure you know exactly what is waiting for you inside.

If you are a parent, carer or grandparent of an ADHD girl or young woman aged 13 to 25, this is for you. It does not matter whether she has a formal diagnosis, whether she is in school or not, or how long you have been on this journey. If you are finding it hard and you are doing it without the right support around you, you are exactly who we built this for.

Here is what is inside for just Β£25 a month:

Just two youth workers who have spent years working directly with ADHD girls and their families, and a community of parents who get it in a way that most people around you simply do not.

Β£25 a month. Cancel any time. No long commitments.

Friendships with an ADHD brain can feel really hard. We want to be honest about that.

The forgetting to reply. The oversharing followed by the cringe. The zoning out when someone you love is talking. The friendships that drifted because keeping in touch felt impossible even when you wanted it more than anything.

Those experiences are real and they deserve to be named.

But so does this: when girls with ADHD find the right people, the friendships they build can be some of the most loyal, full-on, genuinely connected ones around. Because ADHD brains love deeply. They feel intensely. They show up in ways that other people remember.

If you are a parent supporting a daughter who is finding friendships hard right now, we see how much that hurts to watch. And if you are quietly recognising your own friendship patterns in this too, this one is for you as well.

Drop a comment. What does your ADHD brain bring to your friendships? We want to hear the good stuff today.

The link to join will be shared here and in your emails tomorrow morning. Make sure you are following this page so you do not miss it. πŸ’›

Can we talk about self-care for a minute? The real version, not the one with the candles and the gratitude journal.

Because self-care with an ADHD brain often looks completely different to what the wellness world tells us it should. And for girls and young women with ADHD especially, the pressure to do self-care the right way can actually make things worse.

The truth is that whatever helps your brain recover, reset, and feel okay is the right version for you. Full stop.

This carousel shares some honest, practical ideas for what self-care actually looks like with an ADHD brain, including some real voices from our community.

Then we want to hear from you. What self-care actually works in your house? Whether it is something your daughter does, something you do as a parent, or something you have both stumbled onto by accident, drop it in the comments. We are going to read every single one.

Nicola Adams was diagnosed with ADHD at 15.

She went on to become the first woman to win Olympic gold in boxing, the first openly LGBTQ+ boxer to win at the Olympics, and one of the most decorated British athletes of her generation.

She's spoken about how her ADHD brain gave her relentless energy in training, but also about how hard it was to focus, and how much support made a difference.

If you've got a daughter who's been told she's too distracted, too impulsive, too much... share this. Because the world has a habit of underestimating girls with ADHD, and Nicola Adams spent her whole career proving it wrong.

We forgot to share that the second Podcast that Sarah recorded is now out live. Sarah spoke to the Irregular Humans Podcast and spoke about girls with ADHD. It was a lovely conversation, thank you Jenn for having me.

Out now for you to listen too, Irregular Humans new episode...

What if the problem was never the ADHD brain β€” but the world it was asked to fit into? Sarah Gaunt is on Irregular Humans today and this conversation about unstoppable girls, digital community, and why compassion beats criticism every single time is one we all need to hear.
