Established over 40 years ago and located in the heart of Silverstone Village, Northamptonshire, we provide high quality education and childcare to young children from Silverstone and the surrounding towns and villages. We accept applications for children between 2 years, 6 months and 4 years old, accommodating up to 30 children per session. Our children are allowed free flow indoor/outdoor play,
except in extreme weather conditions so please remember this when dressing and packing their bags for the day. They are also provided free flow snack time, for an hour each session so that they are able to finish playing and decide when they are hungry. Children are assisted to be independent in setting, and encouraged to set their own pace. We ask parents for children's interests so that we can plan the activities to best engage the children attending. We are constantly improving our provision; we now offer Monday and Tuesday afternoons, as well as a lunchbox session from 12-1pm every weekday, these are all charged at the same hourly rate. We are able to offer regular chances for Forest School sessions to our children. Held in local woodlands, by a qualified teacher, these sessions are very highly recommended by parents. These smaller sessions are filled on a first come, first served basis, but repeat through the year. Silverstone Pre-school is run by a Voluntary Management Committee made up of parents of children at the Pre-school. The committee are responsible for setting the Pre-school policies, managing and engaging staff and the business running of the pre-school.
