Complete Wasters Wacky Workshops Complete Wasters is a green social enterprise providing craft workshops using repurposed or reclaimed materials. Complete Wasters run numerous workshops.

Here are 4 of our favourites. The 'Groovy Record Workshop' involves creating a mirror, clock or a photoframe from an old, unloved LP record. People can decorate it with recycled paints and glitter to make a unique and upcycled record for your home. It is open to all ages from 3 upwards and does not require any painting skill. we have never seen a bad one yet, infact we guarantee you will go away d

elighted. And don't worry. no decent records are harmed in this workshop, as all records are checked by our music expert John. Fantastic Fairy Doors- Glue features (window, handle, hinges etc) to a pre-cut wooden 'door' made with reclaimed wood and then decorate with paint and glitter. Once dry it can be fixed in your garden or bedroom. Nail Art- It's hammer time! Knock nails into a piece of wood make an outline to weave wool around. Use templates of a heart, star or your own design to make a wall hanging. Fabulous Plastic Bottle Flower Feeders - Turn a plastic pop bottle into an attractive flower which doubles up as a butterfly nectar station or bird seed feeder. Make it enticing to wildlife by painting it too. Psychedelic Suncatchers - Using reclaimed materials, create your own vibrant piece by sandwiching glass paints between two small panes of glass.

Here's the finished bug hotel made in at Glastonbury, now fixed up at Hall Orchard School in Barrow on Soar, Leicestershire.
All ready for the children to see when they return to school after the summer holiday.
Thanks to all the lovely Glastonbury festival goers for helping make it by sawing and drilling various pieces of reclaimed wood. The school were delighted with the donation to their wildlife area and look forward to seeing it thriving with creatures.

Thanks to everyone who put forward suggestions for a worthy home for our Glastonbury Bug Totem. We had an overwhelming response and had to pull a name out of the hat and that was
Hall Orchard School in Barrow. Well done to them and commiserations to the other entrants. But don't loose heart, we intend to create some more bug hotels over the year.
In fact the next recipient will be Thrussington School so well done to them too.
We also had workshops creating twig pens, bat boxes, butterfly homes and cutlery hooks. A great experience for all involved.

A great few days at The Glastonbury Festival. Lots of creativity in the Green Crafts Village.

Come and visit us in our yurt in the Greencrafts Village.

A delightful weekend in the company of wonderful creators and festival friends in The Village Green at Wychwood Festival . A superb space full of things to do and delight the senses.
Fantastic spinners, photo frames, clocks and mirrors made as part of our Groovy Records Workshop.
As a bonus this year we will be planting ten trees for every festival we attend. These will be planted at Cossington Meadows Nature Reserve.
Thanks to our team of Sian, Jane and Amanda who made it a great experience for everyone who took part in our workshop.
It's been lovely to hook up to all our friends again and we look forward to the next one.

Until next time....
