We're excited for our friends at Budleigh Music Festival, who are gearing up for another fantastic event! Being part of the Sea Spot Network for Sea Fest, we're all about collaboration, sharing resources, and promoting what really matters: grassroots music. From classical to jungle, folk to rock, whatever your vibe, live music brings us together. We wish the Budleigh team an amazing 2026 festival as they continue to nurture talent and enhance the audience experience. It's all about building a thriving music scene in East Devon, and we’re proud to be a part of it.

We all loved Caribbean Night, right? So we decided to bring it back with a Sea Fest twist, celebrating a cultural landmark at the end of Folk Week
❤️💛💚

Join us on Saturday 8th August for an unforgettable evening filled with vibrant reggae vibes and dancing. Catch performances from reggae legend Dappa Don and The Playaz , fresh dub/soul fusion by The Hempolics , Reggae Sessions with Dj Suv, beautiful calypso roots from Pan Nation Steel Orchestra, plus, more acts to be announced!!🥳

Doors open at 4pm, and delicious Caribbean food and drinks await 🥘🍹A bus service will run through the evening from Sid Road to Tythe Barn.

This year’s Sea Fest theme was all about Marine & Green, shining a light on community collaboration in protecting our planet. It’s amazing to see how small, everyday choices can lead to meaningful change. In Sidmouth and the Sid Valley, locals, businesses, and community groups are stepping up to improve water quality, conserve nature, and support biodiversity.

We introduced a community charter pledging collective action for our local water and nature spaces. By uniting as residents, volunteers, schools, and businesses, we can promote awareness and create a positive impact. The participation at the festival was fantastic, showcasing a diverse community coming together for a great cause!

We’re still buzzing from all the amazing support at this year’s Sea Fest! Despite the tricky weather, the community came out in full force to celebrate with us. We had a fantastic time jamming to so many different bands across our three stages. It was incredible to see all the community groups, arts and crafts, performers, and so many creative contributors making it such a vibrant experience. A huge thank you to everyone who showed up and made it special! And guess what? We’ve got another event lined up for this summer, so stay tuned! 🩵🌊🩵🌊 🎥
