My favourite has to be when I was about 22 and I went to visit my friend who lived in a pub on the Isle of Wight at the time. I was fast asleep when it sounded like someone slapping the pillow right next to my head, obviously it woke me up and then I felt someone squeeze my legs, well needless to say I legged it out of the room. Even though I was scared it still goes down as an amazing experience for me. 🖤👻🖤

I’m getting itchy feet and I’m at a loose end this upcoming weekend, can anyone recommend and good spots to do an investigation in Kent? Or does anyone know of any planned investigations that still have spaces available that I could book onto? I’ve got some new pieces of equipment I want to take for a spin 👻🖤👻

Happy Sunday everyone ☺️ So last night I went on my first official paranormal investigation with the team at Ghost Hunt Events at Fort Horsted in Chatham. It was an amazing experience, I met so many lovely people and was made to feel very welcome. Sadly I made the biggest rookie mistake ever and didn’t take any pictures 🙈 I was just living in the moment and taking everything in. The Fort is very charismatic, from the ‘hanging’ room to the vaults and all of their graffiti. If you’re afraid of spiders, I suggest not looking too closely at the alcoves and the ceilings but it’s definitely worth a visit as we did get some activity and some people did have some interesting experiences. All in all, it was an amazing experience and I’m looking forward to going on more with the Ghost Hunt team 👻

Hello my lovelies. I hope your Monday has been a good one so far. Mine has been cold 🥶 I’ve had a little rebrand of my page, I’m no longer Sidcup Paranormal Society, I’m now Amy’s Paranormal World 👻. Hope you like it 🥰 I’ve been a bit lacking on the old content front, I’m still getting used to the idea that I can post about the things I love, instead of keeping it all to myself. I do have a few investigations coming up and some exciting places lined up to visit so hopefully I’ll have some interesting tales to share very soon. Happy New Year everyone. I hope that 2026 has already started in the best way possible for you all. I was lucky enough to spend New Years Day at the Skirrid Inn. It was an amazing experience and I was lucky enough to have access to the rooms upstairs for a look around. This is somewhere I’ve wanted to go for a very very long time, so 2026 started with a bang for me. I’m going to be lucky enough again to go back and do an investigation which just sets my investigator soul on fire. I really am very lucky. I do have pictures of the stairwell with the hangman’s noose but wasn’t sure how Facebook would feel, so I’ve not posted those. The Skirrid is a beautiful place and you can feel the history as soon as you walk in. I 100% recommend visiting if you are ever in Wales.
