Shrewsbury Handbells

Shrewsbury Handbells Shrewsbury Handbells (formerly Montford Handbell Ringers) is a group of ten enthusiasts who perform in and around Shropshire, UK.

The aims of the group are to entertain and to enjoy playing handbells. To enquire about the possibility of Shrewsbury Handbells playing for you, please click the "Contact Us" link at the top left of our webpage. All our concerts are given in order to raise money for charity. A new charity is chosen every year. The most recent charities that we have supported are the Shrewsbury Music Therapy Unit T

rust Fund, the Pontesbury Muheza Link, and Sightsavers International. This year we supported the Shrewsbury Ark, a drop-in centre for the homeless, and on 20 October 2010 we presented them with a cheque for £400. Next year we are suporting the Diamond Appeal of AgeUK to raise money for day centres for those suffering from dementia and their carers in the Shrewsbury and Telford area.
